Employee Handbook Service:

We can manage your HR needs by working off-site (from our office) as needed to handle telephone calls from your employees as well as pressing HR issues that require immediate attention.  You will determine the work schedule that is most appropriate for your company.  We manage terminations, claims of sexual harassment, workplace injuries, and other issues within the scope of our day-to-day HR management.

Our Total HR Outsourcing service includes (1) our Internet-based tools—yourHRassistant™ [the management tool], (2) the Employee Self Service Center [described below], (3) on-site HR management (as needed), and (4) off site HR management to handle the “day-to-day HR management” issues that arise, including:

  • Preparing and implementing new hire paperwork for all new hires;

  • Assisting employees with benefits issues and interface between your employees and your benefits broker;

  • Overseeing your payroll service and completing client-side payroll worksheets;

  • Performing benefit administration services (see attached for scope of services);

  • Working with your benefits broker to handle the open enrollment process annually;

  • Overseeing your 401k plan administrator and other HR vendors;

  • Tracking insurance eligibility;

  • Tracking COBRA eligibility;

  • Tracking vacation time, sick time, and other paid time off accounts;

  • COBRA compliance and documentation;

  • Common employee and interpersonal issues (requests for leave, personnel disputes, etc.);

  • Coordination with management to meet the needs at the company;

  • Handling and documenting any employee matters that arise-including disciplinary matters;

  • Handling unemployment claims;

  • Discipline and Termination review;

  • Reference checking;

  • Preparation of job descriptions;

  • Handling employee terminations and the necessary documentation;

  • Maintaining your personnel files in our offices.

·               We can also help with the HR consulting needs at your company, including: developing  safety plans or Injury and Illness Prevention Plans (IIPP); HR audits; salary surveys; employee and management training, development of new HR policies and procedures, and unemployment claims. 

  Employee Self-Service Center 

            Part of our HR outsourcing strategy includes the use of our Internet-based HR management systems.  yourHRassistant™ is a management tool used to handle the day-to-day HR issues that arise.  Even if your employees do not have Internet access at your workplace, the Employee Self Service Center will provide your employees direct, Internet access at home to the following services:

  •  An Employee-only service area that delivers the content of your choice from the forms we provide with our basic Internet HR management system;

  • Our on-line, self-service HR Management Forms needed to document HR practices, including vacations, time off, time sheets, etc.

  • Harassment-Discrimination Training for Supervisors (a self-training module--perfect for new hires between annual in-person training programs);

  • Harassment-Discrimination Training for Employees (a self-training module--perfect for new hires between annual in-person training programs);

  • On-line new hire orientation

  • Your Employee Handbook on-line

  • Your Benefits and Summary Plan Description on-line
